Capiz Beggars

As I walk along the streets of Capiz I saw a couple aging 60-70 years old. Barefooted and wearing their untidy clothes and it seems that they don’t even take a bath for a year. Seeing those faces make me feel that I’m lucky enough to have my pair of slipper. My heart really aches with that scenario. They are the people who are neglected in our society and being discriminated by some of us.

We can see them everywhere, along the streets of Roxas City, beside the Immaculate Conception    Metropolitan Cathedral Church stretching their arms and begging alms. We called them beggars. They are the one who cannot afford to buy their own slippers, clothes and even shelter to shed. They are not even sure if, tomorrow they have something to eat, yet struggling to survive in this unjust world. Despite the discrimination they continue to fight and face tomorrow with courage and determination to survive.

The most special thing that we can give to them is respect and acceptance of who really they are. We need first to assess ourselves if we are that so good enough to criticize them. We need to accept the fact that none of us is perfect. We need also to respect them for us to gain their respect.

What an Experience!

The fist time that I rode on a ferris wheel is when I was in 1st year high school together with my cousin. What a great experience! When the Ferris wheel went upward I just close my eyes and hold tightly on my cousin’s arms coz I felt like I am going to fall and when it went downward I am just like an angel flying without wings. After that experience I want to repeat it again and again.

Prized Possession

When I was a child I am so very happy when I got 100% on my exams because my father promised me that with every 100% that I will have he will bought it 10 pesos. Every time that we have an examination I really study hard just to

have a 100% for me to have my 10 pesos.

Shopping Mall

Trinoma is a nice place to go with especially when it comes to shopping. They have a lot of boutiques and stores that offers quality products and services. When you’re so tired and hungry of rooming around you can go to their food court on the ground level and buy delicious foods. You can also go to their garden where you can unwind.

Place Near Water

I love to go to beaches during summer time especially with my family coz that’s the only time that we get together and most of all enjoying the beautiful scenery of the beach.  Watching the waves bumping the stones is the most relaxing thing to do when your there and the highlight of all is swimming in the crystal clear water with your family.

Frightening Place

Dark places are those that I don’t want to go when I’m alone. Of course it’s obvious that I’m afraid in the dark coz I imagine a lot of crazy things and I got scared and I’m not at ease because I felt that someone’s staring at me.

My Senti moments

Whenever I fell bored and lonely I listened to my favorite music and I feel relaxed. I think a lot of things when I’m alone and laugh whenever I remember the “kulitan moments” with my friends. When the time comes that I will listen to my favorite song I just easily remember my crush.

My Inspiration

In spite all the difficulties and struggles in life I salute my parents for their support in our studies and guiding us through the right way. They are both determined and work hard just to give us the good education. Thanks to God because they are my family. What kind of person I am right now it is because of them. So what more can I say, thank you so much nanay and tatay.
